All Saints Church, Northampton

By Acancarter
A fish eye shot off a majestic Silver Birch and, oh yes, a church. This is All Saints, in Northampton Town centre. A damp drizzly evening walk about with the Northampton Camera Club a year or so ago. This works quite well in mono, but in some ways I liked the colour of the muddy Sodium lit clouds with the stone.

Thanks for all the votes yesterday, for 'Keswick in the Mist'

I thought from the thumbnail that it was a rather elegant enamelled box!

A great shot with the fisheye, Andy 👍 I like how you've got the buildings going all the way around the edge 😃 I've only achieved this once with my fisheye, that was in Leeds where all around where I was stood there were tall office/hotel/apartment buildings and I pointed the camera directly upwards.

Thanks for all the comments! One of the most difficult bits was to keep the fine drizzle off the lens. There was still quite a bit of clean up work afterwards - all the surface drops are visible with the very wide lens.
