All the Fun of the Fair...

By Lucy_Locket
Back through the archives again. A couple taken at St Giles' fair in Oxford last Sept. The fair has been held in this main street for over 100 years. Some of the rides are ridiculously close to some of the beautiful college buildings that line the street. Makes for more excitement when you're on them though!

Thanks for all previous C&Cs.

Colourful images Lucy! The combination of colour and stone works really well.

Hi Luce! Glad you've seen some white stuff! We've had more here, too!
I love these photo's. They're vibrant, especially No1 - I love the mix of old and new! Wonderful capture!
Bring on summer so we can get out on that photography trip! x

Love the contrasts in V1 - colour, age, angle. Clever shot.

I like the way the ride makes the building look out of kilter - or is it the other way round? They complement each other perfectly. Good strong composition.

V1 is my favourite. It's got a really strong composition and the colours are excellent. V2 is good also but It would look better if the sky was the same colour blue as in 1. Just looks a little empty up top (like me) Smile
