All Work and no Play...

Little homage to the army of staff and volunteers that keep such places as Chatsworth in such pristine condition.

There is a slight pun in the fact that I know some may say crop out the duck...don't worry, the gardeners are working their way over to it! WinkWinkWinkTongue Nobody messes with that duck!

Indeed Kath - a lot of work goes into keeping these properties in order.
Happy days when you can visit again.

Thought this building looked familiar. We had a Camera Club outing here way back in 2005, such lovely grounds and gardens. Being a very warm sunny day, never got to go inside the house itself, seemed a shame to allow the sun go to waste! 😃 A fine composition and capture, working well in mono...even with half a duck! 👍

A lovely composition and capture.

Thatís a great image Kath. What an impressive building. Where would we be without these volunteers! They are amazing. Most of the gardeners at Wisley are volunteers. As for the poor duck......half a duck is better than no duck......especially with Hoisin sauce & pancakes!!! 😉

Thanks all, for the comments and clicks. I know Trevor that blinking duck! To crop would lose part of the fountain and I could have erased it but what the heck, let it have its moment in the spotlight! Karen, your idea for the duck is the best! Especially with scally onions and thin strips of cucumber! We've had a Duckgate incident!

Take care all.
