Along Coseley tunnel

By babajoshua
Entering the Coseley canal tunnel near Dudley, West Midlands.
Along the Birmingham to Wolverhampton canal, the approaches to a tunnel were cut by 1829 and the underground construction carried out during 1835. In 1837 the 360 yards long (329 metres) tunnel opened, with the light bouncing of the various colors of the brickwork and mosses etc, it makes and interesting walk.
