Along The Track

By Minty805
Another scene from our countryside exercise; this piece of machinery was left under trees after a day's work of whatever it does. Initially, I worked on it in colour, and will upload that as a version, but preferred the mono. Which do you prefer?
Grateful thanks to those who voted, commented or were kind enough to give awards to Hedge Fund Managers. I was very pleasantly surprised by how that was received.
Thanks for looking. Allan

It looks rather an old machine, so the retro mono look suits it, the colour is a bit too documentary. So mono for me.

A fine capture, Allan, and definitely suits mono, so it's the lead for me 😃👍

It looks an old piece of equipment. It appears to have solid wheels, and some fitted with tyres, so goodness know what its purpose is! Mono for me.

I've done a mod of the colour - converted to sRGB, warmed and lightened the foreground.

Thanks for that, Keith. That works very nicely and brings out the tones of the machine better.

I like the mono version Allan, the processing and treatment suit the image perfectly giving it a nice aged look.

The lead for me. It' really does look like a piece of equipment form a bygone era, so your processing is perfect, Allan.

(Always upload in sRGB to preserve the colours correctly)

Keith mentioned that too. I must have had a funny five minutes, so thanks for pointing it out for next time.
