It seems ages since I uploaded though I suspect it's only been a couple or so days. As I'm getting withdrawal symptoms here's a less than perfect Alstroemeria. I retrieved them from my brown bin about a week ago - I let my neighbours use my bin and they'd thrown a perfectly good bunch of flowers out.

Trouble is I should have photographed them sooner - they're getting rather tatty now!

Still I have at least been experimenting with various treatments - Lucisart Whyeth, Topaz Adjust and Topaz Detail - tonight Detail won out.

Well rescued and despite your own apparent reservations, looks to be a pretty fine shot and presentaion to me, Alison.

Thanks folks - I was somewhat surprised when I opened the bin that day to find a rather large bunch of flowers in there. The only ones that had gone over were some roses so I picked those out and kept the rest. I think I'll check the bin more frequently now!

Unusual for me nowadays Kate but if you go back a while in my portfolio you'll see that I did virtually nothing but flowers for years Smile I struggle now to find anything that I've not photographed a million times before or inspires me. I need to put some thought into what to grow in the garden for next year that I can't find in the shops!

Thanks again everyone - sadly no more flowers to photograph at the moment - I do wish spring would hurry up and arrive so that I have some crocus and snowdrops to photograph! I shall have to be patient Smile
