Alter Keller

By TrevBatWCC
First of all, I'd like to thank again Moira (moiral) for her UA on my previous upload, 'Rödertor', it really brightened up my day! Grin
Heading back into the medieval town centre of Rothenburg, and wandering down the street Alter Keller, I came across this stone pillar and trough, which seems to be (or has been) a drinking fountain. I rather like V1 as my favourite, looking up the street, but V2 shows better what it actually is.

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

I love the effect in V1, the very subdued, understated pastels with the bare stone. Calming.

Two more fine shots from this old town centre, Trev: looks such a wonderful place to visit, full of olde worlde charm...........guess I should have said "auf alt gemacht" charm.
That's a cracking lens you have allowing such full DOF at f/8, the detail from front to back perfect.
