Ambleside Christmas 2010

By reaper4252
The view from our cottage window 27-12-10 8.30pm 5-6 inches snow
We were due to go home the next morning, how dissappointing to find it had thawed a bit overnight
Arrived on 22-12 departed 28-12 and the winscreen washers did not work all week
Was a little bit cold, apparemtly -20c was recorded in Elterwater one night
Walked to the White Lion on Christmas Day (all of 500 yards) and it was snowing.......very niceSmile

How beautiful.
Lovely, snowy light in the pretty village.
(I'd clone out the power line and aerial for Christmas card
potential!)
