Peter, a couple of years ago, I paid a visit (not for the first time) to the Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Virginia. Itmisma museum about boats and history, and also the Chesapeake Bay. In a large room hanging from the ceiling is the boat, the hydrofoil catamaran that defeated the Kiwis for the Americas Cup in San Fancisco Bay. This was perhaps the greatest comeback in the history of all of sports. In that competition, nine wins would win the cup. New Zealand, due to various circumstances, among whigh was a good boat and talent, was up 8-1. And they lost. The American boat and crew got it together and won eight straight races to,win 9-8. As a sailor, I found it pretty thrilling.
