Among the stacks - One man and his dog

By Humblebee
Spotted this weather vane from my dining room window, and wondered if I may have over imbibed the coffee Wink

Because I had never seen it before I just had to go outside and see if I could get some shots of it.

In a bitterly cold blustery wind, I climbed up and perched unsteadily on several large grey blocks and took a good number of shots, this being the last and the best. I feel it's such a shame that this masterpiece of wrought ironmongery is hidden away among the chimney stacks ...

Thank you everyone for your comment and votes on my "Splash of Blue ..." and other images - all very much appreciated GrinGrinGrinGrin

What a great find Carol. I have seen a couple of similar one in Rural Northumberland but none of them have had the addition of the bird.

Never seen one like this before, Carol. Didn't see the bird at first, I like where you have placed it in the image.

Good one Carol. I've taken a similar one locally.
Not sure if the bird was in line of fire!
That's dedication going out in the recent weather!
