An Artist Palette - Westonbirt Arboretumn Glos

Its 0730 hrs and the phone rings " shall we call it off - the forecast is heavy rain " says our friend - we had scheduled the day to go to Westonbirt again...I replied "well its not at the moment" and added that " we should take the moment and just GO" .. we did and was rewarded

Greeted with that wonderful array of fresh spring trees in their "lime " green colour ( except the acers - who do anything but ) waking up from their long winter giving those contrasting colours....oh and the Rhododendrons are still with us and will be until late June I expect

So not one snap but several to share what gave us a delightful morning before that "Liquid" Sunshine " arrived Smile

always a risk in the rain but you were well rewarded with your Image

A very tempting and colourful road into Westonbirt, flanked with all these trees, in your lead image. Once you enter, plenty more trees and plants to photograph. A very pleasing set, Vince.

You're certainly selling this beautiful arboretum to us, Vince.
Many's an outing we've all pondered over due to the weather
and been glad we went.
