An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day

By BillRookery
Taken yesterday at sunrise my wife Norma and I were out at 5.20 am it was a cold and frosty start

When the day is new when the sun has just crept above the horizon and everyone has woken out of slumber just as bed-ruffled as you. Savor that newness, taste it for what it represents, that every day is a new opportunity and a new chance to do something. Anything

I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning

5.20am Bill - when do you go to bed?
A wonderful time to be up and out if we can struggle out when it is cold.
Lovely to see what we miss!

5:20 a.m.? That's the middle of the night! A fine capture, Bill, the grass showing us just how frosty it was 👍
Take care, stay well, and stay safe.

5:20 in the a.m. - that's keen. I only used to get up that early for two things - going on holiday and fishing. Lovely frosty sunrise GrinGrinGrin

That's a serious reason that I've almost never photographed a sunrise. When you to it, it's the time I usually go to bed...
Excellent morning view, with a calm atmosphere, Bill!

i am an early riser also Bill....but usually not quite that did get a beautiful photo out of that walk, and I suspect, some good time with your wife. You clearly (as am I) are an optimist, a man whose glass is always half filled (if not all the way). As a furniture maker, I make a significant part of my living (though not right now) doing craft shows....and every one, during a possibility for anything good to happen. I met pessimist once at a show..and never saw him again. Some lines of work, if you are not an optimist, you spiritually die. And, they don't all turn out well.....and there always is the next one.
