An Impossible Orchid

At Southport Flower Show this year this Phalaenopsis was on the stand of the Orchid Society. I couldn't believe the colour and, when I asked the guy on the stand, he admitted it had been dyed blue for a "Royal" display and was displayed with white and red ones that were genuine! You can't believe everything you see!!!

that certainly grabbed my attention! At first I thought you had done some clever photoshopping.
I believe they use coloured dyes in the water which is taken up by the plant & shows through.
Great capture, as usual.
