"And that's your lot for a month."

By lifesnapper
Hi all and many thanks for your response to my previous upload, much appreciated.

So here we are, just as we thought it was safe to eat out and provisions made, at great expense, to protect the public; another month, at least, of misery for restaurants and hair dressers +
On Monday, I missed my hair appointment because I got the date wrong on my calendar so, another Covid hair episode to follow. Sad
I'm glad I'm not a parent of young children just discovering that their kids have grown out of last years winter cloths!

All the best to all and keep smiling,

JohnSmile

P.S. I'm assuming that photography comes under the heading of; recreation so, we should be okay...Shouldn't we?

We spent yesterday at Beamish, it's now closing for lockdown - but National Trust grounds are staying open, complete with carparks, loos, take-out refreshments.
One difference with Lockdown Mark 1 is that unlimited exercise is being positively encouraged, see question 7 here.

Something I've given much thought to, ee.
"Of course we're Covid safe here madam!
Look ... let me stick my finger in your dinner to prove it"

Great shot John

Looks like we'll have to wait a while before our next venture out to the eateries of Rochester Sad

Thanks for that, Moira. The main thing that remains the same this time around, is the sprinkling of nonsense to the rules.
5 Nov 2020 7:15AM
Yep, seems that way, Colin. Oh well, there's always next year. Or will there be? Sad

Great candid shot, hope your right about the recreation rules and our hobby, Dave.

One last time...
The strange thing is that everyone is treated the same. The wife's hairdresser has gone overboard to ensure everyone is safe but like everyone else they have to close. Shame there is not some kind of grading for these people and if anyone wants to take it up with women about hairdressers being non-essential, good luck with that.
Great pair of images John.

Great duo of images John.
As the days progress there are an increasing number of creative individuals selling mugs and t shirts with slogans on them. One I saw yesterday on a mug was ‘I used to cough to disguise a f*rt, now I f``*rt to disguise a cough’. We live in very unusual times, yes.

Dave 🙂

Lovely shot John.
( My wife thinks that I am irresponsible if I go out taking silly photos of things....bit brutal I thought......however I don't go near people, I don't put anyone's life at risk, so, sod it !)

Some of it seems unfair, especially where money has been spent to prevent passing on the virus.
You'll survive a month John - we got through nearly five months earlier.
Hope things will be OK for Christmas for everybody.

You know that we will do the right thing... it's what we do best!!
I'm certainly not looking forward to another lock down
even though knew it would happen with the stupidity
of some people parting in the streets... anyway!!
two great images John even a fun take on the lead if you so wanted!

Be careful what we wish for. The poor folks in Melbourne Aus. were facing a huge fine if they were caught outside taking photos during their long lockdown.... no pictures allowed !! Colleen can attest to that .
Love V 1 for the look on the blokes face , keep shooting my friend !
best regards walt
