And The Band Played On

I was going through old stuff yesterday and came across this.
It was taken several years ago when I was invited to shoot a musical theatre show featuring music from 'The Rat Pack' (my word the singers, dancers and musicians were good).
I was given free reign of the theatre and what I could shoot.
This shot was taken from the wings, next to the sound desk but there were too many distractions in the way of mikes and wires (and Old Blue Eyes).
So I reworked it

The original will go in as a version.

Some days I don't feel inspired to give out any awards; on others, I wish I had a bag of them. This is one of those days. A cracking picture (both of them), but all I have left is a virtual award, which would be well deserved.
