And Then It Rained

By chase
All set this morning for an outing to the woods over the road.
I took my camera gear (obviously Wink ) a small reflector and a backboard I had painted especially for the outing....the wood is rather dense and I knew that backgrounds would be in short supply Sad
I have to admit to a little 'gardening' to remove unwanted bits and bobs.

All set up and then...yep, it rained !!
Down and dirty became very sloshy....wellies & waterproofs were worn, just in case.

Taken in available daylight with small reflector camera right.

Raw file processed in Lightroom, finished with a levels adjustment and tidy up crop in Photoshop.

Thanks for dropping by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.

What a good idea....take a backboard. Does this use your specially painted b/g? I can't see it here Blush
I've had one go at mushies recently, but it was half-hearted (really there for squirrels who didn't show), so no tripod. Not surprisingly, my shots were soft Sad

Def. on there Fiona, a lighter shade of green, your monitor must be very bright.

Interesting, carrying a background for macro shots, not something I've tried. Will give it a go, mushroom season just getting going here.
