Angus

By RachelMB
I was trying to take photos of this (Angus breed) cow on our farm when he started putting his face right up near the camera. I managed to get this shot in the end. I really like the angle on this, but the focus is the best I could get it. I think it looks nice though!

RE. The ear tag: I had to delete/smudge the numbers on it because of security reasons. That's why there's some funny marks on it.

An unusual angle! Nice close up, even if a little blurred, the focus has concentrated on the eye (the window to the soul).

Novel angle! I suspect a big slurp was coming... hope you got out of the way in time!

Don't be afraid to take lots of pictures all the same. It gives you the choice of composition and focus. Here, for instance, you may have caught one with a whole ear in. Nice eye contact though. Well caught!

I love this pose. Very well caught! It appears to have a bit of a blue cast on our monitor though.
....Angela knows all about taking lots of shots of the same thing, I think she must hold the speed record for filling memory cards!

you got the eye in focus that#s the important thing. But he's too light - you need to get him a lot darker - just change the levels or brightness should do it.

Lovely angle, focusing on the eye is good
