Most of the camera manufacturers will be producing 50 mega pixels as the norm, by the end of the year.
This creates a problem with lenses which are not up to it. I own seven lenses and have been testing them on a 36 mega pixel camera.
I have had to bite the bullet and replace some with newer more modern versions. Todays photo was taken with a Minolta 400 F4.5 lens My only lens more than 5 years old that would cope with loads of mega pixels.
