Normally I would say that the background is to busy, but this works, yes she is pretty.

She certainly is pretty, with those huge brown eyes, and V.1 is definitely a favourite. Carol

Ah yes, the older, wiser twin...
Well we discussed backgrounds. I find this a bit bright, but it does work for me because of the subdued tones of Annie's face, the lack of direct light, the hint of shadows. So strong light behind doesn't look so false. Does that make sense?

This is super. Lovely. I do find my eye taken to the background a bit, but not too much.

Sometimes a really bright background can enhance a subdued subject by making one's eyes work harder; this is one such instance. Such a delightful subject, too!

I'm going for v2. I think the background in v1 competes too much with that beautiful face.

Hi... I felt as if it was a picture of a girl inside a busy market with lots of things going on in the background that was the impression I thought I was creating, but as I said I do get carried away.

I think that is what you have created and I like it - very colourful and pleasing image. I think the b/ground in V2 is too plain.Smile

V1 with the coloured bg is absolutely stunning. Those wonderful eyes and her sad look stands in contrast to the lively bg. So well done!

A really seriouslooking Annie in this one - I think you'veachieved what you set out to cereate created in V1, but I do like the b/g in V2 - nothing to steal Annie's "limelight" Ina
