Simon this was taken using a Nikon D4 and 200-400mm lens.

But the image can be taken by pre-focussing (plane of jump to landing point is pretty much parallel to angle from hide) so the image can be taken on any camera and lens combination. Some people even pre-focussed and locked camera pointing to gap between take off and landing and then just hit motor drive as the squirrel jumped. Not my preferred technique as I wanted to pan with the jump as I like a challenge.
