I like this. I like the sense of coming and going, and the textures. It could be so empty in the middle, but it isn't because of cobbles and puddles. I'd prefer without the cars, but nobody asks the photographer to direct the traffic...

It's about looking down for me so I thought I would try cropping drastically at the top. I'm not sure that it needs much sky.

And b&w, because pink, yellow and green are the least important elements.

The buildings in this town are quite colourful, Tom, and there are an abundance of these lovely cobblestones.

I like the way your lady walking and your cyclist balance the frame, but my favourite elements are the cobbles and reflections in the puddle. I would like to have seen more of the cobbles and reflections and less of the sky, which could obviously easily be achieved by just lowering your camera. Where there is an interesting feature like this, make the most of it.

I have done a modification where I added canvas to the bottom to show what I mean, and which could obviously have been achieved by simply lowering your camera.
And I couldn't resist removing two of the carsSmile.

I like the perspective, lines converging at a vanishing point.

Darker sky, slightly more contrast in the lower area, especially the cobbles can work, as can a mono.

I am always quite amazed what can be done in photoshop and the removal of the cars in this case is one such moment. Incredible work Pamela.
As to the image itself, I like the colour. I think it is part of the overall feel. Monochrome is fine but it doesn't enhance the story for me. Monochrome adds a gritty feel but that isn't what I get here. Strangely the slight desolation is enhanced by the colour. Especially because the colour is picked up in the puddles.
The lines are good but it is made by the two people, one cycling into the picture and the other walking out. Without them it's just a street, but they add life.
