'Apollo'

By TrevBatWCC
Another from our lovely sunny evening Camera Club outing at Clarence Dock area in Leeds. Although this boat is used for pleasure trips, I'd love to live in one of these, and to able to uproot and move to different locations!

Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Yes,I would like to live in a boat too Trev.
But this one would be too long for me.
I am sure I would have trouble turning it at a sharp corner !!
Good colourful shot.

Great capture Trev, since my long boat holiday many years ago I have always wanted to live in one for awhile and travel, but think it would have to be in summer as winters would be freezing.

First time I've seen a canal boat converted for pleasure trips, Trev: what a splendid idea, and what a fine shot across the dockland area.

It seems so strange to see such an elegant, olde-worlde vehicle nestling alongside the ultra-modern glass and steel architecture.
A well-considered photograph, very well composed and displaying some pleasant reflections in the near distance.

As you say - would be great just to travel slowly along on this beauty.
Beautifully composed shot and I particularly like the processing effect on the buildings. Moira

Nice HDR Trev.... We have a Marina near me with loads of "lived in" barges.... You should take a look one day ..... Barden Marina on the Leeds Liverpool canal at Burnley 😉

Bill sums it up perfectly, Trev.

Take the plunge - sell up and buy yourself a boat. Think of all the new experiences you will have!Grin
