Appleby 1

By GeorgeLedger
Taken at the famous Appleby Horse Fair - the riders and drivers parade up and down this road in a bid to show off their horses to prospective buyers.
I've used a slow shutter speed to create a 'blur effect' and to get rid of some of the crowd (if you squint you can still make out DannBrann in the background!)

Yes that's good George. It worked well and it conveys speed ,which was the object of the exercise. Incidentally on this site you can vote for peoples images.
I have had a helluva time trying to get rid of hundreds of shots from Friday. It is frightening how many useless shots that I took. I was obviously taking them without thinking or planning..And nearly every Kingfisher shot looks the same so I had a similar exercise.
