The detailed Arch over the restored West entrance to York Minster.
The entrance deserves the title by which it is known, 'The Great West Door.'
It's beautiful arch, adorned with tracery work representing the history of Adam and Eve and Noah's Ark.

Full on depiction of those stories - not noticed them before!
That Eve had a lot for which to answer.
If she'd kept her hands in her pockets (oh, she doesn't have any!) we'd all be gardening instead of trying to destroy the world.

Great architectural pictures!

Very good, especially the detail shots. Lovely tones in the stonework, V1 preferable to V6 I think. It is good to see that there are modern masons capable of such carving; V4 is particularly appealing.

These are all so good Dave, I love the carving of Adam and Eve, not as detailed as the old stone masons but still excellent quality

You have captured the light really well hitting the stone work .

Have a good week
