Bizarre things happen when you're out and about in extreme conditions.
I arrived back at the -5 ( V2 ) Surprise view car park, still blowing a blizzard trying to work out how i was going to get home in my front wheeled drive car ( V1 ) when this little bird tapped on my drivers side window ( V3 ) , i lowered the glass, like you do and this little fella flew in to get out of the cold ( V4 ).
It spent a good few minutes foraging around the footwells until it came across one of Mrs T's Whitby chips, unfortunately i hadn't got anything else to offer but it seemed happy enough with the chip.

Ten minutes later white circles started to appear on the rear suede seats and i knew it was time for Mr Robin to man up and leave, ............. or should i take him home ? ............. take him home to meet Rambo the resident robin who likes to fight, they are very territorial so maybe not, so i opened the door, still blowing a blizzard, his knees trembling, i thought he'd be off in a flash.
I ended up opening all doors and started to imitate a cat but little old robin was reluctant to leave until the car started filling up with drifting snow, he hopped out eventually and sheltered under the car, ...... DAM ! ......... it must have been warm under there as the engine had been running for half an hour or so and i was the only car in the car park. .................... i didn't feel a bump or anything as i slowly skidded off home.
Many thanks Mike for your welcome UA on my last pic, always appreciated.
