In the summer boats must never get too close to an iceberg, not least in case they suddenly decide to roll over. But in the winter this is not a problem when they're locked solid in the frozen sea. So here is my friend Arielle taking a closer look at one on our way home from Kap Hope. Attached versions are both of the same berg. The lighting is not good as we were late getting here due to deep snowfall on the sea-ice.
