Around Dartmouth town

By TrevBatWCC
Continuing past the Butterwalk on Duke Street and into Victoria Road, came to the Old Market. Built originally as a pannier market in 1828 selling dairy products from local farms, it still sells fresh foods as well as many other goods. V1 & V2 are on the nearby narrow Foss Street. Though I don't often call in these places on my travels (honest!), I do find old or traditional pubs very photogenic, like this, The Dolphin in V3 & V4 😀

Many thanks to Dave (HobbitDave), Jan (newbe2) and Lillian for their User Awards on my previous upload, The Butterwalk , most appreciated 🏆👍

Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Nik Collection's Viveza 2 and Photoshop Elements 14.

Thanks again to everyone for your vote & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging 👍

I would never have envisaged Dartmouth the way you have shown us Trev.
Very inviting pubs and buildings. I saw a lot of a different way of life on my Cornish Trip
with lovely villages, cobbled streets and varied shops - we do get fed up with the same old
shops on the high street.
Beautiful set Trev.

Looks like a place designed for tourists! Obviously human nature's need to shop is a very old trait!

Thank for the tour Trev. Must admit I would be tempted to pop in. Purely out of historical interest of course.

Peter.
Another fine set, Trev - you have the knack of portraying the places you visit in the most interesting light, pun intended.
