Art

Shot last week at Goth Weekend in Whitby. Wondered what you would make of this? (More Goth shots to come, a lot of images shot.)

ISO400, EOS 7D with 18/125 Sigma OS at about 80mm actual. Hand held with - 2 stops compensation. About 1/60 @ f8, aperture priority.

Some dodging and burning in with a smart sharpen.

Firstly i didn't realise you were a Goth.
This is an interesting image as are most of yours.
I did a mod, not necessarily an improvement, just lightened the overall shadows a little. It gives more rim light to the openings, giving maybe a little more depth.
Although again, you have not said why or for what purpose you made the image, I like looking at it. i keep seeing bits and pieces.

Not a Goth, just like to see them, or anything unusual. (Although in my coke oven days, sometimes looked like one when we had an incident!) The window looked interesting and many of my shots have library use in the back of my mind although this could be considered by some libraries to have copyright issues. The sign saying 'art' seemed relevant to the composition with everything else very black.

I like it, especially the ART on the left, and the profile of the person on the right.
