Arty Trees.

By SimPick
I was out today trying to create some arty tree shots using a long-ish shutter speed (around 1/6th) and then tilting the camera up or down (without tripod) after pressing the shutter to create a blurred effect. I like this one. It almost looks like a painting.
I took quite a few like this, and about 7 or 8 came out really well. It was a nice bit of fun for a change, and something a bit different from the norm.
I think for me this was a very good lesson in photography, to sometimes think outside the box. The scenes in front of me in the woods were very boring indeed, and had nothing of interest. It would have made a really drab image, but I managed to come away with something interesting and a bit different.

There is absolutely no Photoshop work on this image. It is straight out of the camera.
