Assynt Stream

By Sue_R
Another shot of the stream we walked along on our way back down from Conival, which was totally shrouded in cloud by this time and not much better when we were up there. The mound in the middle of the image is where Conival would be, if only you could see it Smile

It's been an impressive series of images Sue, and this is another splendid shot to add to the list.

This is a very nice comp' Sue, and whatever I can't see, I'll imagine. A lovely addition to the series.

Lovely textures and tone here like the way the cloud hides the top of the mountain making it mysterious.

You have certainly made the best of the weather conditions Sue. I suppose a lot of us put our cameras away during these conditions. How foolish we are... Super stuff.

Good comp using the stream and like those tones that the cloud cover has given

Very similar to a couple of Dougies uploads recently, Sue, although your water is far more tranquil, although I bet it is just as cold!
Like the added atmosphere created by the fog/cloud topped Conival.

Another wonderful image in this excellent series, Sue - the ominous looking weather really adds to the bleakness Wink
