At the end of the day...

By brownsilent
... we were all knackered, but there was still enough power in me, to get out for a tour of the toon.
This is a different evening shot, don't know what you think about it - but with your comments coming in I will soon be wiser.

Till then, have a great evening
Johanna

My little extra:

THE NIGHT HAS A THOUSAND EYES
by Francis William Bourdillon

The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one:
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.

A lovely, peaceful and reflective landscape (reflective in both senses), with the reflections looking even more inviting than the originals!
There is a stillness about this which is very inviting.

Bill

Lovely peaceful evening aura about this Johanna. The hustle and bustle of the day is over and the town snuggles down for the night. Great.

Just the right amount of lighting to create those wonderful reflections.

now this is getting a bit out of the way, although of course it does have several visitor attractions, the jail and the castle etc. I visited here a couple of years back now and I thought the accent of the locals was wonderful, more of a lilt to it than my ' Doric '

Aw well Kin, so you are an Aberdeener? Was guessing all the way through Scotland where you might have your base camp.
