At the wrong place at the wrong time

When searching for a square cropped boxing sports image in my (too big) collection of boxing captures for a first local mini-exhibition, I gave the original color version of this capture a seccond life as I initially went for a B&W conversion. I had another go at converting to B&W, as I find my technique and/or style changes, I hope it developes... seeing mistakes I made in the beginning

I was hoping to have four b&w images to enlarge, but for this image I prefer the color version.

Looking back at this moment in time, I feel the man was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It's a superb image, but b&w for me by a long way, it's all about the faces. Colour seems to be about everything else.

This reminds me of a George Bellows painting - you've captured the visceral nature of the sport - just look at the eyes. Colour for me.
