Audi TT

By Philo
A very dirty TT I found in the dark arches car park, Leeds. The low point of view allowed me to hide a car parked behind it. Processing wise I have pushed this a bit to create a high contrast mono. Any thoughts on how I could improve on this or what I could have done different at the taking stage.
Many thanks,
Phil

I remember this place from my last visit...can get pretty spooky in the night Smile...i think this has been well captured, while some may think its a bit OTT from a processing perspective i quite like the mood the processing creates, there;s good detail overall, camera settings look ok too...all in all a very good shot, id be interested to see the color version too...i think it may make for an interesting tone mapping exercise Smile

Yes, Prabh, it's a bit spooky under the arches. I have uploaded the original raw file so feel free to have a play.
Thanks guys.

Been out with McFade again Phil . . . ! ?

I can see an influence at work here!

This is really good. The OTT processing, as Prabh rather succinctly describes it, has done an excellent job.
As for the composition/viewpoint, I wouldn't have done it any differently.

I like the colour version too. I'll have a play with it later.

I was going to upload my Mod but had a look at Devlin Mod and thought bloody hell (I actually felt a bit embarrassed at my feeble attempt) so thought I just talk about your shot. Great right IN YOUR FACE sort of shot:: Top Gear here you GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Prabh, the mod works well though I still prefer the mono.Wink

No Ade on this occasion, Bren, it was a solo effort. Looking forward to seeing your mod if you get round to it.

Thanks, Mike, "in your face" is exactly what I was after.

Colour version looks ordinary, mono version, with that added contrast, very good indeed. In fact, excellent. A first rate car shot.
