AUSTRALIA 2013 #111

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
I think this is a honeyeater. If you can identify it further, I would be very grateful.

It might be a White-gaped Honeyeater as it lives in the north of Western Australia.

There are lots of marked trails around the Broome Bird Observatory and some hides where you can observe birds and be eaten by ants at the same time. Smile

Fabulous find...had a quick Google and found this site... Honeyeaters . I would guess at either a `Lewin's Honeyeater' or a juvenile `white faced' SmileSmile

Thanks for looking Jeff (cats_123). In fact I think it's a White-gaped Honeyeater as it lives in the north of Western Australia.

What a beautiful little bird, Jean-Noel.
V2 and V3 show an interesting and quite wild looking environment.
