AUSTRALIA 2013 #113

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
In the kitchen, shared by the people working for the Bird Observatory and the birdwatchers, there is a window with a view on a bird washbasin. The water, throughout the day, attracts birds coming for a wash or a drink.

I think the birds in this series are honeyeaters but which sort? There are many difference sorts living in various parts of Australia so itís really hard to identify the bird from the north of Western Australia when youíre not a specialist.

Anyway, it was a real delight to observe them.
