Australian Blue Banded Bee

Spotted this native bee on a walk through a local park yesterday afternoon , was very gusty & quite difficult to capture on the moving flowers !

A fine triple, Ian. I like the shots showing the wings blurred - I like the other one too - just think it neat to see the blurring like our eyes see the bees. Smile

V1 for me withe great detail on the bee .Very cool bee, at first I thought it was a hornet with the white markings .
