Nice to see you back Gerry with a very lovely autumn image.
The composition is good as it is.
I see you've used a high ISO. Not sure if more compensation would be better
to prevent noise.
Although I like this as is - I've uploaded a version with more contrast and saturation
to enhance the golden leaves.
Not sure how to enlarge modification to see effect.
The experts will enlighten us both.
A nicely composed image but I struggle with your EXIF. 3200ISO and 1/40 @f10 on a bright sunny day, even in the shade, does not gel.
High ISO should simply not be necessary and the lower the ISO the better the quality, even with modern gear. There are signs of the restricted tonal range causing some problems with burnt out highlights.
EXIF doesn't appear to be the best but given the conditions and the fact you used 1/40sec @ f10 without a tripod you had no chance. Given that a tripod is always better for this kind of shot the ISO could have been reduced considerable but having said that I struggle to see noise present. You wanted a deep depth of field which may be why you chose the settings that you did. With your tripod you could most certainly have reduced ISO by half to 1600 with a shutter speed of 1/20sec.
I have uploaded a mod where I ahve used Topaz adjust filter in an attempt to give some more Autumnal colours.
