Autumn at Padley

By AntHolloway
Finally something other than Iceland photos Wink

With the winds forecast for Sunday/Monday I thought it was about time for a trip to Padley to record the autumn colour before it all ends up on the floor.

So I present a photo showing the wealth of colour at Padley at the moment... cough.

This one leaf was holding on in quite a torrent of peaty water (honest, there was no way you could have put it there!) and I've gone in close to contrast the static leaf with the water rushing past. An exposure time was reached that smoothed the flow but still had some detail.

It was a choice between here and West Burton yesterday, we chose the latter. Similar problems with the amount of water. Like this, very minimalist but still effective, you made the best of it.
