Ha LOL thanks for the plug..... and another one for the Series....

I love the orton effect on the trees, adding to the glory of the colour and the movement of the breeze, the upward pov is one I always enjoy and I am often seen staring up at treetops..... it could get me a reputation.... Smile

Wonderful golden tones against that blue sky. The movement adds interest too.

The deliberate blurring is very effective and gives a sense of wind movement. The rich saturated colours are beautifully captured and sit against the intense blue of the sky so well.

The blur works so well here, but it is the brilliant colors that have attracted me--- Brilliant!

The blurring works very well and is an innovative step. Love the vibrant colours too. Always a winning colour combination - gold/yellow and blue. Thanks for your comments on my Abbey Buttress pic and will give B&W a go as you suggested. Paul

Absolutely gorgeous gusts of colour. xx

Thanks for helpful tips xx I realise my hand is not as steady as it used to be nor my eyesight as sharp at 78. Just needs a lot of time to set up the camera and tripod and then the sun has gone.

I will try again a bit later if this frosty mist clears up. Have a great Sunday

I do like this image, but I feel that it is one of these images that it really does need to be viewed LARGE to get the best out if it. It mirrors the movement very well and timing/exposure seems to have been perfect.
I prefer it more than the last upload "WOODLAND VORTEX" not because there is anything wrong with woodland vortex, indeed not its a very good image and I feel more importantly different and in this case different is good. No the only trouble with the vortex is it made me feel a little queasy.

Polarizer!! That accounts for that smashing blue sky making an excellent backdrop to the lovely colours of autumn captured here. Works a treat.

Now that is different and interesting. Lovely idea, I shall try this. But then the blur looks tricky a bit. It looks like a Gaussian...

No, no, the blur is just from a long exposure while the trees blew in the wind. This series of blurred shots was created entirely in the camera — the only editing was a little cropping and the usual adjustments to contrast and saturation.

This is really lovely. Beautiful colours and a great blurred effect. Thanks so much for your comments and mod on my most recent images. :0)
