Autumn Fayre

By chase
The Supermarkets have lots of different Pumpkins and Squashes in stock atm.....I couldn't resist Blush
The rest of the debris is from my garden, plonked on an old piece of fencing.

Lit by daylight camera left against a lightish, grufty bg.
Single raw file, sorted in Lightroom, finished with a bit of a faff in Photoshop.

There may be a short series of these, I like to get my moneys' worth Wink

Thanks for getting this far.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.

What a grand arrangement Janet, so full of Autumn fayre but I don't know if I dare say this..... I prefer Willie's flipped version because my eyes focus so easily on the left!!!!! It wasn't until I viewed the mod that I realised this but, hey, you always get one😆😆😆😆!!!!

This is a tour d'force of Autumn. I also like Willie's flipped version. It reads more naturally.

And some elements destined for soup after they've served their photographic turn, I trust?

The UA is partly for the lovely, uneven tailing-off to the left. And not a Corbynista in sight.

Thanks all.

Many thanks for your UA John, very much appreciated, a good hearty meal will be on the menu quite soon, once the ingredients have finished their photo call Smile

Fiona, 'grufty' is a very special word, it's in my bozwonk dictionary under 'G' Wink Wink

Contrary to most others who have expressed an opinion, I prefer this as it is, not flipped. Why? Because reading from left to right it starts small and builds up to a 'climax' on the right.
I also feel this is, regardless of subject matter, probably your best still-life of late, Janet. It all looks so natural, not composed and put together.

I must admit to just chucking the fallen leaves and the rest of the debris on there, took me a while to get the Pumpkins in order though, they have a mind of their own Wink

Splendid shot ! Original composition too, most of us tend to stick to 2/3 or 3/4 frames when composing still life, using a pano is a bit out of the ordinary. Bravo !!

Is it my eyes or is the mod a bit darker too - I quite like the tones but prefer the arrangement of the original.
