Autumn Fayre II

By chase
A very different viewpoint to the last one and a much darker backdrop.

Lit by controlled daylight camera left, I had to stop loads of the light hitting the backdrop in order to keep it dark, so I used my big soft box strategically placed.

An HDR image this time, 3 frames each 1 stop apart, combined in Lightroom and finished in Photofaffshop.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.

Changing the viewpoint makes a totally different image of the same items, Janet. This looks more like an arranged decoration - I think I just prefer the first version, mainly because of the breadth and space of it.
Rich colours well taken

Similarly to Malc above I like this but after looking at the first arrangement everything is a bit cramped and pushed together. It's more like a traditional decorative arrangement in container of some kind hidden by the foliage and berries in front. I do like the lighting and colour with the contrasting dark background but maybe open a little more space on each side to make a squarer image?

Thanks all.
Strangely this is the same 'arrangement' as the first image just taken from a very different viewpoint, slightly above with a shorter focal length. Things look very different using an alternative perspective I guess.

Curiously I much prefer this version, I felt from the side it all looked a bit 'stretched out'. The darker background seems to bring out the colours more....and the lines in the wood are great to lead you in.....or something Wink
