Autumn Mooring ...

By sut68
Just had a fabulous trip up to the Lakes with my lovely wife to celebrate our first wedding anniversary [officially on Wednesday] ... of course we took the cameras with us. Well, with all that lovely autumnal colour up there it'd be rude not to Wink

This is the boathouse on Rydal water using the Lee BIG Stopper to smooth out the water's surface a little more.

Cheers for looking in, catch up soon. Just trying to organise dinner Grin

Thanks Lavina, was hoping to go back with some stronger, more directional light, but with one thing and another we never got back. Still, I quite like the diffused light on this one Smile

Certainly was Dave ... had some fab conditions this morning on Loughrigg Terrace ... more of that to come soon Grin

Did I see you? Did you stop close to the quarries and have a little dicussion? Was it someone else? Great comp, I'm surprised you needed to smooth out the water - were the ducks/geese doing their thing?

Certainly did Darren, was lovely this morning on Loughrigg Terrace ... some inversion over Grasmere Smile

Doesn't sound like us Melanie, we didn't get that far along. There was a slight breeze which was upsetting the surface, so the BS helped here, plus the ducks were chasing each other all over the place [though not on this shot]. The swans were being nice and friendly and then a Canadian Goose came to say hello too ... got them on my phone though Smile

Cheers all,
