Award Shortlist

Avenue of The Dead. (Avebury).

By UrbaneMagick
View from West Kennet Long Barrow to Silbury Hill , Avebury , Wiltshire.

West Kennet Long Barrow is an excavated Neolithic long barrow, excavated by the Marmalade Heir " Alexander Keller" in the early decades of the twentieth century.

Silbury Hill is Europes largest man made hill.... it appears to be hollow and despite numerous excavations, nothing has been found so its purpose is unknown.

There is a book that I highly recommend that although only a time slip novel , will teach all you need to know about Avebury and specifically Alexander Keller ..it's called the Buried Circle.

Many thanks for yesterdays clicks and votes..and a special thankyou for the award...yeaaayyyy Smile

Very interesting, a gloomy atmosphere, Gareth.
