Shot captured a few weeks ago in late evening light while out birding down by the shore.

On the day I was lucky enough to get hold of this juvenile male Mallard just as it pattered along the surface breaking into a laborious take-off ..... very pleased with the frame, turned out to be one of my shots of the day too! The camera/lens combo delivering really well here.
