Very balanced composition, Guy.. I have to admit that the b&w appeals most to me, but then that is probably no great surprise!

If color is indeed for clothes and black is for souls, then you could change your 'Saltireblue' to Mr. Soulman Tongue - do you wear white or black socks under your sandals Malc?Tongue

I shall consider the alternative username, Guy.
As for sock colour, no man with pride in his appearance wears socks with sandals!Wink But you knew that, didn't you?

Color for me this time Guy. I like the blue sky in combination with the yellow sand.

In case of a little more action in this photo I would probably have chosen B / W because this would increase the dramatic effect.

Colour; I did view the mono large also, and I find the overall quality of the mono isnt as good as I would expect, a but "spidery" especially in the sky, and contrast seems excessive where the man is.

I would try other methods for conversion to see if there are better results possible.

very true Willy, I must confess I was not that impressed myself about my effort or attempt to try and make it look stronger than usual... I should go more subtle, take it easy in this case with the presence and contrast I guess. I realy (and always) appriciate any less positive or even harsh critique! only then can one learn! GuyWink

Just made a second attempt V2 to get it more right - the clouds tend to go a bit 'spidery' when I want to give them more contrast or get the sky darker (enough) in comparison and in contrast to the light colored sandy dune. Thanks for your honesty Willy - we all should be more critical! all with the best intentions.
