B29 Wrecksite

By waymol
This was taken on my first visit to the Wrecksite of a B29 American Plane which crashed on Bleaklow Moor approx 60 years ago.

The heavy grey misty morning seemed a suitable time to visit. I was amazed at the amount of wreckage still left scattered on the ground including this large section of Landing gear.
