Baby Tawny Owls

By teocali
A pair of three-month old baby Tawny Owls (Strix aluco) taken at BWC British Wildlife Centre last Monday. The light was challenging, to say the least! These were just soooo cute and fluffy Smile
Lovely meeting other EPZ members at this friendly get-together organised by Lillian.

Settings: F/8 1/200sec -1.67EV ISO200 AV@130mm handheld

Many thanks for your C&Cs on my last Water Vole upload - really appreciated as always.

Light may have been difficult Sylvia but you made perfect use of it for this shot. Detail on the face and eyes of these two little rascals is just superb.

Sylvia, it was lovely to meet you last Monday. You have done really well with this image as the lighting was 'difficult' to say the least, but you have captured these two beautifully, with that little pool of light so well placed. You have also managed to avoid all the obvious signs of captivity, so well done Sylvia.

Nice to meet you at BWC on Monday Sylvia. I loved the way this cute pair kept looking up everytime a plane flew over. The light was certainlly challenging, you have caught them just at the right moment. Well done, a lovely image.
