Back Bencher's.

By lifesnapper
Hi all and a great BIG thank you for your wonderful response to my previous upload, including some wonderful mods.Smile

In Today's lead image, the girls are actually sitting on a bench with their lunch spread out between them. I thought it would look more interesting (IMHO) if I made use of the three layer landscaping so that the bench they were sitting on, couldn't be seen, while the bench in front of them, on the next layer down, was visible. In other words, just for Colin: I thought it would be more fun to take them from behind so that you couldn't see what they were sitting on.Wink

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone.

JohnSmile

P.S There's some interesting reflections if you view LARGE!Smile

Looks as if they have planted themselves in the middle of the flowerbed, John.
I like v2, with the stories that can be told round the empty, silhouetted bench, and the information sign that looks like a lectern waiting for the speaker...

Fine set John, all with much merit. Love v.2, Saltireblue says it perfectly, above.

A lovely set John. You must tell them a funny story to get them smiling so nicely.

I like the stark contrast of version 2 but the beautiful portrait version 1 is my favourite of the three.

A glorious set of shots, the lead and V1 being my favourites. Being socially dysfunctional I can only marvel at the capacity you possess to charm your subjects in the way you clearly do! As for Colin's modification ... I may be missing something ... but then so I suspect is the young lady who appears to be seated on the bench but with nothing substantial to sit upon. Should we assume that the 'behind' referred to has been already been taken?

I do like what you have achieved in the lead image and your narrative behind it.
I think the B and W presentation also works so well.
And I do like the socially distanced alcoves in V 2.
