Back Causeway and the Town House.

By Tooma
As you enter Culross village, one of the first, and interesting buildings you will come to, which dates back to 1626, is the old Town House. The clock tower structure was added much later, possibly round about the early 1780s.

The Town House was once the home of local government and it was also used as a prison.

It was an overcast hot day, so no blue sky to be seen, but a bit of pp brought out some cloud detail.

I sat on seat across the road from your photo admiring the view of the old town building etc. Plus looking in the opposite direction gives a nice view of the Forth. Nicely framed.

Fascinating ancient buildings-- I am glad there is space around them and they seem to be weathering the centuries well!
illuminating!

Looks like a very picturesque village and your viewpoint does it justice. I like the post processing which has given it the look of acrylic paint on ceramic. Nice one Tom.

A very nicely composed and processed image Tom. The buildings are rather striking and look very elegant; I've had the same thought as Phil that there is a painterly quality to the image which has been rendered with subtlety. SmileSmileSmile
Beautifully composed and photographed

Have to agree with Phil , looks very much like it was painted on pottery. Superb processing Tom
