Back In Time For Breakfast

By lifesnapper
Hi all and many thanks for your fun comments, some that made me laugh, on my 'Anti Foreign Lorry Gun' and of course, for your lovely votes.
Today continues the 'Motors By The Mote' theme from Leeds Castle and this time I chose the Breakfast Table to home in on inside of an old VW Camper Van which has been lovingly restored by its owner. ( I love the old Transistor Radio ) There were Three or Four of these on exhibit one of which was pretty much untouched from its original form and bears the signs of old age and maybe I'll upload a shot of that one soon.
We went back to the Castle Yesterday for the Jousting and a walk through history, plus to see the wonderful array of Rhododendrons and Azaleas which are now out in full bloom.

Hope you have a good Bank holiday Monday, weather here much what we've come to expect from it.

All the best to all,

John Smile

Extending your range with a cunning still life, John, and it works out very well.
That fellow Robert has an awful lot of radios Smile

Roberts - pretty much the 'must have' portable radio but beyond my pocket money in the old days.
Alas, I had to settle for the cheapie Dansette model.....Smile
Nice still life John.

A bowl of cornflakes and a bottle of red perhaps.
Talk about memory lane...I used to Joust (many years ago),
I remember we did a show at Leeds Castle, a corporate event for 2 breweries,
Bass and Worthingtons. It was great fun and we all drove home
with our cars loaded with free beer..wonderful SmileSmileSmileSmile

I used to lust after one of these many years ago. Quite iconic. A lawnmower has more horsepower these days.

Interesting 'still life' type shot, John: doesn't look as if it's going to be substantial repast however.
